An excellent opportunity has become available for a Prison Cleared Locum GP to join the healthcare service in Leeds. Working in a secure environment, you'll provide comprehensive primary care to patients requiring both acute and ongoing support across physical and mental health needs. Key Information
- £700-£850 per day (umbrella or Ltd company)
- Flexible 3-5 days per week
- Locum / Freelance contract
- Deliver face-to-face clinics with holistic, patient-centred care
- Conduct segregation rounds and complete accurate documentation
- Collaborate with clinical teams, security staff, and MDTs
- Support continuity of care planning and health interventions
- Weekly payments via digital timesheets
- Personal consultant support for bookings and compliance
- Fast-track prison clearance assistance
- Free on-site parking
Requirements
- GMC registered with full licence to practise
- Prison clearance (essential - fast-track support available)
- Experience in primary care, urgent care, or secure environments advantageous
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
- Commitment to high clinical standards in complex setting
