Join a leading veterinary care team as a Registered Veterinary Nurse, located in a vibrant town near Slough.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced RVN to become part of a dedicated and friendly team at a highly regarded veterinary hospital.
About the Position:
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Time role on a structured rota basis
- Must be a Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse
- Up to £32,000 per annum (D.O.E.)
- Involves rotating shifts including theatre, kennels, and recovery
- Night and weekend duties included with use of duty room
- Administer treatments and assist in procedures under RCVS guidelines
- Responsible for inpatient care, admissions, and client discharges
- CPD encouraged with ongoing professional development opportunities
- Previous supervisory experience is beneficial
- Flexible start date available
About the Practice:
- Perform nursing duties across multiple departments
- Dispense medication in line with professional standards
- Maintain records of all patient treatments and progress
- Handle client communications and reception cover when needed
- Support and supervise junior staff and student nurses
- Follow all health and safety policies and cleanliness standards
- Independent veterinary hospital partnered with Vets Now for OOH cover
- Wide range of shifts to suit varied working styles
- Strong collaborative team environment
- Full access to theatre, lab, and recovery facilities
- OOH nurse handles client triage until handover to Vets Now
- Located within easy commuting distance and includes free parking
