Senior Practice Director - near Solihull

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 (D.O.E.) & Performance-related bonus

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent role

About the Role:

As Senior Practice Director, you will work closely with the clinical team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. You'll be responsible for overseeing operations, supporting team development, and ensuring an exceptional experience for pets, clients, and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team of vets, nurses, receptionists, and support staff

  • Drive financial performance, manage budgets, and meet KPIs
  • Ensure high standards of client and patient care
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative working culture
  • Support recruitment, HR matters, and training
  • Oversee compliance with health & safety, RCVS, and clinical governance standards
  • Act as the key liaison between the practice team and wider regional operations

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in practice or clinical management-ideally in a veterinary or healthcare setting
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • A commercial mindset with experience managing budgets and driving performance
  • A passion for animal welfare and supporting veterinary professionals
  • Experience with HR processes, team coaching, and operations management
