Job description
Are you a qualified Speech Pathologist looking for a role where you can make a meaningful impact supporting children with autism, communication challenges, and broader speech and language needs?
An exciting opportunity has arisen within a thriving, well-established allied health clinic in Ballarat Australia.
Frontier Consulting is working in partnership with this clinic to recruit motivated Speech Pathologists who are open to relocating and building a long-term career within a supportive and structured clinical environment.
Your Role
You will deliver high-quality, client-centred speech pathology services across NDIS and My Aged Care settings, supporting clients with communication, language, and swallowing needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine speech, language, swallowing, and communication needs
· Developing and implementing individualised, goal-based treatment plans
· Delivering direct, evidence-based speech pathology interventions
· Supporting children with autism, developmental delay, and communication difficulties
· Supporting clients with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) where required
· Monitoring and evaluating client progress and adjusting treatment plans as required
· Maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation including assessments, case notes, and progress reporting
· Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care
You will work alongside occupational therapists, physiotherapists, behaviour support practitioners, and care coordinators in a highly collaborative environment.

· Salary: £80,000 - $100,000 AUD + super (approx. £42,000 - £53,000) per annum

Key skills and requirements
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology (or internationally recognised equivalent qualification)
· Eligibility for registration with Speech Pathology Australia and AHPRA (or in a position to obtain registration)
· Strong clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice approach
· Excellent communication and client-centred care skills
· Experience in speech pathology across paediatric and/or community settings (desirable)
· Interest in working with children on the autism spectrum and supporting communication and developmental language needs
· Exposure to dysphagia assessment and intervention, or willingness to develop skills in this area
