Job description

Join one of Scotland's largest and most prestigious NHS Trusts, working in a dynamic multi-disciplinary urology service renowned for pioneering neuro-urology, women's health, cancer care, and gastrointestinal services. This locum role offers full clinical autonomy managing complex reconstructive urology cases and advanced neuromodulation procedures, supported by world-class facilities and academic resources. Contribute to specialist MDTs, outpatient clinics, and service development while enjoying excellent on-site imaging, pathology, critical care, and leading-edge surgical technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex reconstructive urology cases (urethral strictures, fistulae, incontinence)
  • Perform Sacral Neuromodulation procedures with full autonomy (test phase through permanent implantation)
  • Lead specialist outpatient clinics and multi-disciplinary team meetings
  • Deliver care within a structured 10 PA Consultant job plan
  • Undertake non-emergency duties during premium time sessions

Requirements:

  • GMC registration with active Licence to Practise
  • On the GMC Specialist Register in Urology
  • Proven expertise in reconstructive urology and neuromodulation
  • Excellent communication and MDT collaboration skills
