Join a leading veterinary team as a Veterinary Surgeon, located in a vibrant town near Aberdeen, Scotland.

This opportunity offers the choice between a focused small animal role or a truly varied mixed position within a thriving independent environment. With a large, experienced clinical team and excellent facilities across two sites, the role provides outstanding support, case continuity, and flexibility, allowing the development of personal interests while maintaining a strong work-life balance.

Small Animal Role:

  • Part-Time/Full-Time role available
  • 1 in 4 Saturday mornings required
  • Up to £70,000 per annum (D.O.E.)
  • No on-call work necessary
  • First-opinion small animal caseload
  • Opportunity to develop clinical interests within supportive environment
  • Excellent collaboration with experienced veterinary and nursing teams

Mixed Animal Role:

  • Part-Time/Full-Time role available
  • 1 in 6 full weekends required
  • Up to £70,000 per annum (D.O.E.)
  • 1 in 6 on-call necessary
  • True mixed caseload across small animal, farm and equine
  • Opportunity to develop clinical interests within supportive environment
  • Excellent collaboration with experienced veterinary and nursing teams

About the Practice:

  • Large independent practice operating across two well-equipped sites
  • Digital radiography, ultrasonography, and endoscopy available onsite
  • In-house laboratory supporting same-day diagnostic capabilities
  • Dedicated surgical theatre with advanced monitoring equipment
  • Separate wards for dogs and cats enhancing patient care
  • Experienced team including twelve veterinary surgeons and nurses
  • Convenient location with great transport links nearby

Ideal Candidate:

  • RCVS Veterinary Surgeon
  • Confident in general small animal practice
  • Team player who enjoys collaboration & case discussion
  • Keen to deliver high standards of patient care
