Join a leading veterinary team as a Veterinary Surgeon in a friendly, forward-thinking small animal practice near the beautiful South Downs and the vibrant seaside town of Worthing, Sussex. You'll be part of an experienced, supportive team in a well-equipped clinic with laparoscopy, laser, ultrasound and digital dental X-ray, with genuine encouragement to develop your clinical interests through certificates and funded CPD.
This exciting Veterinary Surgeon opportunity is a 12‑month maternity cover contract with genuine potential to become a permanent role. It offers no out-of-hours, a light Saturday rota and a strong emphasis on work-life balance, alongside a competitive salary, generous CPD allowance, private medical insurance and a £1,000 annual Care Fund for your own cases, all in a beautiful part of West Sussex.
About the Position:
- Full-Time Small Animal Surgeon role available
- Up to £65,000 (D.O.E.)
- Welcome bonus of up to £1,000 included
- Relocation allowance of up to £1,000 offered
- Maternity cover (12 months FTC, flexible) with potential to go permanent
- No out of hours commitments, Saturday rota approx. 2:6
