Job description
A rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist Prescriber to join a healthcare service based in Lancashire. The position offers flexibility with a three day working week and an immediate start. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality clinical pharmacy services within a secure environment; therefore, current prison clearance is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality clinical pharmacy services within a secure setting.
Conduct medication reviews and ensure appropriate prescribing practices.
Support the multidisciplinary team with expert pharmaceutical advice.
Prescribe in line with national and local guidelines.
Requirements:
Qualified Clinical Pharmacist Prescriber (GPhC registered).
Must hold valid prison clearance.
Experience in SMS prescribing is highly advantageous.
Ability to work independently with a strong clinical focus.
