Job description
We're embarking on an exciting new chapter and are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's mental health service in the Manchester region. Position Overview:
- £67,000-£79,000 per annum (DOE)
- Part‑time, flexible working arrangements available
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and formulate treatment plans
- Provide ongoing care and medication management for patients with complex needs
- Collaborate closely with psychologists, therapists, and wider MDT members
- Contribute to service development and uphold best clinical practices
Requirements:
- Full GMC registration with a valid licence to practise
- Inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register in Psychiatry (or eligible within 6 months)
- Enhanced DBS clearance
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills within MDT settings
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred mental health care
