Job description
An established diagnostic provider in Birmingham is expanding its musculoskeletal and interventional ultrasound service and is looking for a Consultant Radiologist with a specialist interest in US-guided procedures. You will lead a dedicated ultrasound-guided intervention service, delivering high-quality care across a range of musculoskeletal and pain-related indications.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Perform a wide range of ultrasound-guided injections, aspirations, and nerve blocks
- Interpret and report MSK and general ultrasound studies
- Support the ongoing development and standardisation of interventional ultrasound services
- Provide supervision and mentorship to junior radiologists and radiography staff
- Contribute to consultant-level responsibilities, including general reporting and on-call where required
