Job description
We're seeking an experienced Gastrointestinal Physiologist to join a well‑established GI Physiology department in Birmingham. The service provides a full range of diagnostic investigations within modern, well‑equipped facilities and a supportive clinical environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a Specialist‑Registered GI Physiologist looking for flexible working arrangements, competitive rates, and optional accommodation support.
Key Benefits:

Core GI Duties:
- Oesophageal Manometry
- 24-Hour pH Monitoring
- Ano-Rectal Manometry
- Hydrogen Breath Testing
- Endo-Anal Ultrasound
- Pelvic Floor Biofeedback
- Primarily adult patients
- Small paediatric caseload (approximately 5-10 patients per year)
Requirements:
- HCPC registered
- On the Specialist Register
- Proven experience delivering a full range of GI physiology investigations
