Job description
A well-established healthcare provider delivering NHS services within a secure setting is seeking an experienced Locum GP to join its multidisciplinary healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality, inclusive primary care to patients with a broad range of physical health, mental health and substance misuse needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive primary care clinics within a secure environment
- Assess, diagnose and manage a range of acute and chronic health conditions
- Support patients with complex needs, including a history of substance misuse
- Work collaboratively with nurses, mental health professionals and other healthcare practitioners
- Contribute to safeguarding, health promotion and preventative healthcare
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical discussions
- Maintain accurate clinical records and work in accordance with relevant professional standards
Requirements:
- Confidence working with patients who have a history of substance misuse
- Certificate in Substance Misuse Parts 1 and 2, or a willingness to complete these qualifications
