Job description
We are inviting applications from experienced Prison Cleared Locum GPs to deliver primary care within a secure healthcare service in Southampton. This unique position offers the chance to provide vital front‑line medical support to patients with diverse health and wellbeing challenges, in a well‑structured and collaborative setting. Key Details:
- £100 per hour
- 3 days per week
- Undertake varied primary care clinics across physical and mental health needs
- Liaise closely with nursing, pharmacy, and substance misuse teams
- Engage in MDTs and safeguarding initiatives
- Provide continuity and quality of care to all patients
Requirements:
- GMC Registered GP with full licence to practise
- Prison clearance (mandatory)
- Previous experience in secure, out‑of‑hours, or community care desirable
