Job description
An excellent opportunity has become available for a Prison Cleared Locum GP to join the healthcare service in Northampton. Working in a secure environment, you'll provide comprehensive primary care to patients requiring both acute and ongoing support across physical and mental health needs. This role offers consistency, professional variety, and the opportunity to truly make a difference within a high‑impact clinical setting.
Key Information:
- £100 per hour
- 3 days per week
- Locum / Freelance
- Deliver face‑to‑face clinics with holistic, patient‑centred care
- Conduct segregation rounds and complete documentation accurately
- Work collaboratively with wider clinical and security teams
- Contribute to MDT discussions and continuity of care planning
Requirements:
- GMC Registered with licence to practise
- Prison clearance (required)
- Background in primary care, urgent care, or secure environments advantageous
