Job description
Join as Prison Locum GP at Featherstone secure healthcare service. This rewarding role offers the chance to deliver compassionate primary care within a well-supported prison environment focused on quality and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily GP clinics in secure prison healthcare
- Manage acute presentations, chronic disease, and mental health
- Work closely with MDT (nursing, pharmacy, substance misuse)
- Ensure continuity of care and safeguarding compliance
- Contribute to clinical reviews and multidisciplinary working
Requirements:
- Prison clearance essential
- GMC registered GP
- Secure care, OOH, or community experience desirable
